Mackenzie Health (MH) is the District Stroke Centre serving the District of York. The Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital site of Mackenzie Health is the thrombolytic delivery site and Endovascular Treatment (EVT) triage centre. Integrated stroke units are located at Mackenzie Health – Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Oak Valley Health – Markham Stouffville Hospital (Markham site).
Inpatient rehabilitation services are offered for stroke patients at all three hospitals in York region through the integrated stroke units described above, and through a mixed rehabilitation unit at Southlake Regional Health Centre.

Patients will be referred to Cardiovascular Rehabilitation if they are deemed appropriate following their visit to a Stroke Prevention Clinic.
