Speaker: Dr. Andrew Demchuk
Dr. Andrew Demchuk is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences for the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary. He is also a stroke neurologist and Director of the Calgary Stroke Program, Alberta. His major national responsibility is Chair of the Board of Directors, Canadian Stroke Consortium (Canada’s professional organization for stroke physicians).
He is known for his efforts in driving an instrumental research agenda in stroke care and imaging and his passion for advancing physician training that has directly transformed acute stroke care in Canada and worldwide.
