Best Practices for Managing Perceptual Impairments Post-Stroke
This 3-part virtual series is an interactive, hands-on interprofessional workshop for frontline clinicians to learn about evidence-based guidelines for assessment and treating perceptual impairments post-stroke.
Date: February 4, 6 & 12th, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (need to be able to attend all 3 sessions)

Learning Objectives:
On completion of this workshop; the participant will be expected to be able to:
- Understand the prevalence of perceptual impairments post-stroke (especially unilateral spatial neglect) and its impact on functional outcomes
- Understand and apply the latest Canadian best practice guidelines for assessing and treating perceptual impairments post-stroke, as well as the roles of the interdisciplinary team
- Understand the general psychometric properties, interpretation of scores and clinical applicability of screening/assessment tools to evaluate perceptual impairments
- Understand existing gaps in best practices versus actual practices in managing perceptual impairments post-stroke
